GOAL
The aim of the Robot Athletes is to knock out the opponent on the specially designed wrestling ring and be declared the winner.
There is a time limit .... minutes in each round.
Wrestling, as a sport, does not require the damage or destruction of the opponent, but only the displacement of him outside the ring.
In such a case the Robot Athlete violating the core values will be disqualified and the opponent will be declared the winner.
TEAMS
1. Team formation
1.1. Teams participate in the Games and not individuals.
1.2. Each team can consist of two (2) - three (3) people .
1.3. The team shall designate one of its members as the Chief Coach of the Robot Athlete who shall be responsible for communicating with the Organizing Committee and the judges, for the technical inspection process and for the handling of the Robot Athlete during the Games.
ROBOT ATHLETE - ATHLETE CATEGORY
The Competition is for Robot Athletes regardless of the robotic kit or hardware used.
All Robot Athletes compete together in each age division.
2. Robot Athlete Requirements
2.1. General robot specifications
1. Any robot design is allowed, if not subject to the restrictions of section 2.2.
2. A robot must fit in a square with a side length of 20 cm (200 mm).
3. The total mass of a robot at the start of a race must be under 3 kg (3000g).
4. A robot may expand in size after starting a match, but it must not physically split into pieces and must remain a single central robot. The robot's legs must not extend during the race. Bots that violate these restrictions will lose the match. Screws, nuts, washers and other robot parts with a total mass of less than 5 g that fall from a robot's body shall not cause the match to be stopped.
5. All robots must be autonomous. Any control mechanisms can be used as long as all the components are contained in the robot and the mechanism does not interact with an external control system (human, machine or otherwise).
6. Robots must display a number, supplied by the organizers, on the outer casing of the robot in a prominent place. The number used to identify the robot by the referee.
2.2. Robot Restrictions
1.For safety reasons the robot must be equipped with an IR kill switch to be operated by the judge. When the judge sends a signal of death, power to the engines must be cut off. The bot manufacturer is responsible for adding such a kill switch to the bot. The technical specifications for the IR receiver are given in appendix 1. Competitors must apply them to the hardware. This module can provide the signal to activate the kill switch.
It is mandatory that the IR boot module works and the responsibility for this rests solely with the team. If the unit is not on the robot or not working, the team will be disqualified from the competition. If a problem occurs with the unit during a race, it is recommended and allowed to replace it. During approval and in matches the module must work properly.
2. Jamming devices, such as IR LEDs intended to saturate opposing IR sensors, are not allowed.
3. Components that could break or cause damage to the playing field are not permitted. Do not use parts intended to harm the opponent's robot or its operator. Normal pushing and shoving is not considered intent to harm.
4. Devices that can store liquid, powder, gas or other substances for throwing at the opponent are not allowed.
5. No combustible devices of any kind are permitted.
6. Devices that throw things at your opponent are not allowed.
7. Sticky substances are not allowed to improve adhesion. The tires and other parts of the robot that come into contact with the ring must not be able to pick up and hold a standard A4 paper (80 g/m2) for more than two seconds.
8. Devices to increase downward force such as vacuum pumps and magnets are permitted.
9. Robot blade and extension cannot be white.
10. The robot must be started by a remote control from the referee.
2.3 Technical Control of a Robot Athlete
1. The initial technical inspection will take place on the day of the Games at a place and time to be determined by the organizers.
2. Technical control is carried out before the start of each phase (preliminary, qualifying, final) of the Games in which the Robot Athlete may participate.
3. Failure of a team to arrive on time for a technical inspection of their Robot Athlete results in the automatic disqualification of the team from the event.
4. Only the Robot Athlete's coaches are responsible for submitting the team's Robot Athlete for technical inspection.
5. Technical testing includes testing the Robot Athlete in accordance with the conditions described above in the Robot Athlete section. If it does not meet the specifications it will not be accepted to compete and automatically disqualified from the event.
6. During the scrutineering the Robot Athlete coaches must demonstrate the program to the scrutineering committee.

COMPETITION
4. Competition Procedure
1. A bout shall consist of 3 rounds, within a total time of 3 minutes, unless extended by the judges. The extra time of the match will not exceed 1 minute.
2. When the match is not won by either team within the time limit, an overtime match may be played, in which the team receiving the first point wins. Alternatively, the winner/loser of the match may be decided by the judges, by lot or by a rematch.
3. If the bots get stuck, the rules described below will apply.
4. If one of the two robots does not start, it will be restarted. If in this restart the same robot does not start, the race will be won by the moving robot.
4.1 Course of the Competition
1. The robots will be divided into groups according to the number of participants. The competition will be held on a group/quarter/final system to allow equal rounds of play for each bot. The decisions of the arbitrators must be unanimous and final. Challenging these decisions will result in disqualification.
2. The matching of the teams will be done randomly by lottery, after the official start of the competition. It will be available on the website for all participants. Those who pass the groups will play quarter-finals/semi-finals/finals.
If the number of participants is not enough for the groups, the competition will be held from the beginning using the pyramid system. The position in the pyramid will be random.
4.During the entire competition, a team is entitled to 2 rescheduling breaks of 5 minutes each. Other breaks are allowed only for mechanical problems and only with the referee's approval. This rule only applies during a match.
5.Until approval, all teams will remain in the area reserved for them. Teams may leave the area only when called to the playing field. Each team will be called by a match referee when they need to go to the waiting area near the pitch.
6. After approval, the teams that will follow at the start will remain on the playing field, in the waiting area. Teams will only leave this area if the referee agrees or only for repairs and must return at the time set by the referee. If the team does not return to the first call, they will forfeit the match.
7. After the completion of a match, the teams must return to the area reserved for them.
8. Each team is responsible for following the original schedule, which appears on the website and in the team area. DON'T BE LATE, WE WILL NOT WAIT!!!
If a team does not come to the field in 5 minutes the Athlete Robot is disqualified!!!
9. Each team will have 2 Robot Athlete coaches. Only coaches are allowed in the waiting area or playing area. The rest of the team will remain in the team area or watch the game from the audience.
10. It is mandatory for Robot Athlete coaches to wear gloves and safety glasses. Protective equipment is mandatory on the playing field before and during matches. Protective equipment will be checked upon approval.
11. Lack of protective equipment in whole or in part will be grounds for disqualification of the team.
12. During a race there will be a short break of maximum 1 minute between rounds to clean the robot and wheels, after cleaning the race must continue.
13. Cleaning of the robot must be done before the robot is placed on the playing field.
14. Once placed on the playing field, the robot cannot be touched or remotely changed in configuration.
15. Robot Athlete coaches are not allowed to use phones, remote controls or other devices for this purpose. If an attempt is made to change the configuration or any other interference with the robot, the referee will award the point to the opposing team.
16.. The players may not touch or remove the robots from the ring after the match has ended until the referee gives them the signal. If the players touch or remove the robot before the judge gives the signal, no objections can be raised.
4.2. Robot Athlete Requirements
Each team will have to pass the technical control stage in order to participate with their robots in the competition.
The stages are:
1. Check the dimensions of the robot by placing a 20.3 cm x 20.3 cm (203 mm x 203 mm) box/frame, without a bottom, on top of the robot. There is NO height limit.
2. Weighing the robot on a digital scale. The maximum value should be 3005 g.
3. It will be checked if the Robot Athlete coaches have the protective equipment.
4. A unique number will be placed on the outer casing of the robot.
5. Demonstration of the program to the technical committee.
6. The bot will not be restricted after approval. They can continue the track testing and programming but without changing the dimensions of the robot. (Attention your Athlete will be measured if he has correct dimensions before the race).
7.A photo will be taken of each robot in which the number is visible.
4.3. Start, Stop, Resume, End match
1. Robot placement
Following the referee's instructions, the first two teams approach the ring to place their robots on the wrestling floor. Operators will place the robots simultaneously on the playing field. The referee will give the signal. After placement, robots may no longer move. After the Robot Athlete is placed on the playing field, its coaches must retreat to the marked safe area.
Robot Athletes are placed facing each other (facing each other). There is a distance of 50 cm between them.
The referee will check if the robots are ok. If the placement is not correct, the placement of the robots will be done again.
2. Beginning of the Competition
The match starts on the order of the referee. The referee checks the start-stop modules of each robot, counts 3-2-1 and press start.
The launch will take place after the robot trainers are in the safe area. If coaches leave the pitch without the referee's approval, the team may lose a point or be disqualified.
3. Interruption, Continuation of race.
The match is stopped and resumed when announced by a referee. The referee announces when the robots can be placed on the court, when the robot coaches will retreat to the safe area, and when the robots can be taken off the court.
4. End
The match ends when the referee announces it. The two teams remove the Robot Athletes from the playing field area. Once the bots are retrieved, the decision is final and no objections will be filed.
5. Race time
1. Duration A match will be played for a total of 4 minutes, starting and ending at the referee's command.
2. Extension
An extended match, if requested by the referee, will last a maximum of 1 minute.
4.4 Scoring
A point is given when:
1. A team legally forces the opposing robot's body to touch the area outside the ring.
2. The opposing robot has touched the space outside the ring by itself.
3. The opposing robot has completely left the playing field surface, even if the other robot has first touched the area outside the playing field (after a contact between the robots).
4. The opposing robot is damaged and unable to continue, and the team coach announces it.
5. If both robots leave the playing field at the same time, the robot being pushed out will lose, even if the one pushing touches the space outside the ring first.
When the judges' decision is sought to decide the winner, the following points will be taken into account:
1. Technical advantages in the movement and operation of a robot
2. Penalty points during the match
3. Attitude of the players during the match
4.5. Determination of Winner
1. The robot with the most points will be declared the winner of the match.
2. In case of knockout
3. In the event of a tie in the final score, the referee will award the victory to the Robot Athlete based on his tactics, aggression and activity.
4. If none of the robots score a point, the judge may decide that there is no winner of the match.
4.6 The match will be abandoned and a replay will be started under the following conditions:
1. If one of the two robots does not start, a restart will be performed.
If on restart the same robot does not start, the point will be won by the moving robot.
2. Bots are confused or wandering around each other with no perceptible progress for 10 seconds there will be a restart.
If on restart the situation repeats itself, the winner will be the robot that moves the most and shows willingness to fight.
3. If a fast bot gets stuck on a slow bot for more than 5 seconds, there will be one restart.
If there is no progress or the robots are moving too slowly, after 5 seconds the judge stops the match. Groups cannot object.
If on restart the situation repeats itself, the robot that moves faster and attacks will be the winner of the round.
4. If two fast bots get stuck for more than 5 seconds, there will be one restart.
If there is no progress or the robots are moving too slowly, after 5 seconds the judge stops the match. Groups cannot object.
If on restart the situation repeats itself, the robot that moves the fastest and attacks the most will be the winner of the round.
5. If a robot has 1 point and in the next round there is no winner, only 2 rematches are allowed. If in the 2 rematches allowed no one wins, the robot with 1 point will be the winner of the match.
6. Both robots move, making no progress, or stop (exactly at the same time) and stay stopped for 5 seconds without touching each other. However, if a robot stops moving first, after 5 seconds it will be declared in no mood to fight. In this case the opponent will receive a point
even if the opponent stops as well. If both robots are moving and it is not clear whether progress is being made or not, the judge can extend the time limit up to 30 seconds.
7. If both robots touch the outside of the ring at approximately the same time and it cannot be determined which touched first, a rematch is called.
Important:
In the case that a winner cannot be declared in any of the above circumstances, there will be a special rule that will be announced at that time.
4.7. Repairs, modifications, unforeseen interruptions
From the time a robot passes approval (and is in the holding area) until the match is over (all rounds are played), no changes can be made to the robot and no interruptions are allowed for any of the following conditions.
- Repairs are not allowed during a match.
- Battery change or charging is not allowed during a match
- Blade change is not allowed during a match
- Reprogramming is not allowed during a match (choosing tactics before the match is not considered programming)
- If the robot blade is detached from the robot during a round you are not allowed to put it back. The robot must continue to fight without the blade until the fight is over
1.The robot must start and finish the match (all rounds are played) without any modification (other than choosing a tactic for the robot) and cannot leave the playing field for any reason.
2. During a race there will be a short break of maximum 1 minute between rounds to clean the robot and wheels, configure the robot and the race must continue.
3. Battery change/charge, repairs or replacement of defective parts, blades can be done after the end of the match until the next match.
4. If a robot breaks during a match and cannot continue, the match is won by the opposing robot. No repairs allowed.
